How the U.S. government works (or doesn’t work) may seem complex and opaque. At this workshop, AGU offers a primer on science policy and current legislation in Congress related to AGU sciences.
In addition, staff of federal congressional offices will be in attendance to share how scientists can and should be involved in policy.
Spend an hour learning the ins and outs from experts on how Congress works and how you can make a real, tangible, and impactful difference in policy outcomes.
This event is open to all Fall Meeting registrants and is first-come, first-served.
