AGU offers paid, full-time internships in flexible timeframes for students and recent graduates in Earth and space science fields who want to explore a career in science policy. Interns work closely with the AGU Public Affairs team on all aspects of their work. Tasks may include drafting letters on behalf of AGU, attending congressional hearings and briefings, researching legislation, organizing events such as congressional briefings, assisting with communications workshops for scientists, running our social media presence, and much more.
