Congress has until the end of September to pass the appropriations bills that support science and keep the government running. This month is a critical time to show your support for science and impress upon your legislators the value of science to your community.

Briefing Alert!

Calling all local DMV AGU members. The House Earth and Space Science Caucus will be hosting a briefing titled “Science Saves” on 14 September 2017. The briefing, held from 1:00–2:00 p.m. ET at Rayburn House Office Building, Room 2103, will explore how federally funded geoscience data and research serve to protect our nation’s health, economy, and security.
