Apply for a Science Policy Workshop in Washington, D.C.

AGU Science Policy Alert 16-3

AGU is proud to sponsor two student members to participate in the AAAS CASE Workshop for a second year. We are particularly seeking students with strong interest but limited experience and knowledge of science policy and advocacy, and who demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills.

To be eligible for AGU sponsorship, students must current AGU student members, and be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate (upper-class) or graduate degree program (including double majors) in an AGU science. Students from foreign countries are eligible if they are studying in the U.S.

Applicants will need to be able to attend the workshop in Washington, D.C. from 17-20 April 2016. AGU will cover all workshop and travel costs.

The application deadline is 15 March. Apply today!

Finalists will be notified via email and cell phone between 16-18 March. Finalists will need to confirm their acceptance by close of business on Friday, 18 March or they may lose their place.
