Volunteers Needed to Achieve AGU's Strategic Plan

AGU Science Policy Alert 12-46

Are you interested in getting involved to help AGU advance the Earth and space sciences while giving back to the community, sharing what you know, and learning valuable skills along the way? Then now is your opportunity. AGU is looking for volunteers to help advance our strategic plan by serving on a committee or task force.

There are a variety of volunteer opportunities starting and ending at different times over the next 2-3 years.  Many of the committees and task forces meet virtually, therefore no travel is required. By completing a brief profile and answering a few questions, you allow AGU to get to know you better and send you opportunities that may fit your interests. Filling out the questions does not obligate you in any way.

Diversity and inclusiveness are clear objectives in AGU’s strategic plan. By serving as a volunteer on a committee or task force, you can help us fulfill the goal to include diverse perspectives and become an important part in the future of AGU.
